The Behavioral Health Aide career at Leading By Example comes with a starting hourly rate of $18.50 for part-time hours and has many perks and benefits including an ultra-flexible work schedule, a growth-focused support team, employee wellness programs, and manageable caseloads. By providing community services in Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Harford County, Leading By Example offers a wide reach into many different settings in various neighborhoods and communities. Hiring Process Information: Please complete the online application in its entierty. The HR department will reach out to you via email to schedule a 15 minute phone screening. If you are chosen to move forward, the HR department will schedule you a virtual interview. Details: Part-Time 10-29/hours per week $18.50/hour Flexible schedule. Must be able to work afternoons/evenings (weekends optional) Flexible start date Overview of Responsibilities: Complete 3-4 visits per month for minors or 6 visits per month for adults receiving PRP services Complete all TBS service hours each week for clients assigned to you Engage clients in developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships Assist clients in creating daily structure that includes opportunities for developing skills necessary for healthy functioning in the community Implement health promotion and education, therapeutic recreation, cultural enrichment, and independent living skills development activities Assist with the development and implementation of rehabilitation, health homes, and therapeutic behavioral plans Facilitate family support sessions with clients Provide emergency crisis intervention and conflict management to identified clients and families Utilize our electronic health record to schedule visits and intakes and to complete documentation Participate in weekly supervision and/or training opportunities Qualifications Highschool diploma or equivalent One year experience providing service to adults or minors with emotional and behavioral challenges Superior time management skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Valid Maryland Driver's License Reliable and insured vehicle Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience providing direct service to adults or minors with emotional and behavioral challenges Proficiency in Spanish Benefits (including but not limited to): Sick and Safe Leave accrued according to Maryland State Law $300 annual training/education stipend Position Requirements EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
