Our client is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join the Cleared Derivatives Risk Technology (CDRT) team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and support of our OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Intraday Risk and Clearing Certainty Platforms. Title: Python Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Contract: 12-18 Months Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Pay: $70-73/hr Key Responsibilities: Develop software using Object-Oriented Design (OOD) patterns. Lead the design, development, and testing of risk applications for the Cleared Derivatives Business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Provide regular updates on project progress and challenges. Create and maintain technical documentation. Mentor junior developers, guiding their growth and development. Required Skills: 7+ years of experience with Python 3.x. Experience with Pub/Sub and Queue Messaging Systems (AMPS preferred). Strong SQL and Oracle database skills, including table design. Proficiency in adopting N-Tier Component-Based Architecture. Strong analytical and Object-Oriented Design/Programming skills. A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
