Plumber

The Plumber will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations at various PRC properties throughout Monmouth County. This is a floating position, meaning the Plumber will travel to different residential and commercial properties as needed to address plumbing-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing pipes, and installing fixtures (sinks, toilets, etc.) across multiple properties. Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including clogs, water heater malfunctions, and low water pressure. Install and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and waste disposal units. Work with staff to schedule and prioritize plumbing work based on property needs. Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while minimizing disruption to tenants. Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations at all work sites. Assist in emergency situations, including responding to plumbing issues when necessary. Travel between PRC properties in Monmouth County as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience. Valid plumbing license for the state of New Jersey preferred. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and travel between properties as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials or equipment (up to 50 lbs). Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including outdoors, basements, and crawl spaces. Ability to work in standing, kneeling, and crouching positions for extended periods.
