Launch Your Career in IT Systems Engineering Entry Level Opportunities supporting National Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Are you a recent graduate eager to make a difference supporting American cyber security? Join us as a Level 1 System Engineer, where you'll support emerging initiatives by integrating publicly available information and open source technologies into our customer's CNO mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to kickstart your career and contribute to groundbreaking programs. Key Responsibilities: - User Assistance: Devote over half your time to Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for user-facing web applications. Engage directly with users to enhance their SIGDEV efforts and resolve common issues. - System Operations: Aid the DevOps team in the implementation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of production Linux systems. Manage infrastructure and related processes efficiently. - IT Support: Handle daily operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting for client/server/storage/network devices. - Configuration & Compliance: Configure Linux operating systems, manage software installations, and ensure STE compliance within an approved SSP. - Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Metricbeat, Filebeat, and Kibana to monitor system health and metrics. - Issue Resolution: Address operational failures and perform hardware fault isolation and remediation. - Documentation & Standards: Keep systems engineering documentation current, support system certification and reaccreditation, and ensure compliance with STE requirements, including on-demand Nessus scans. - Application Management: Deploy updates, configure applications, and manage PKI certificates. Required Expertise: - Strong proficiency in Linux - Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools - Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Junit testing - DevOps experience - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Scripting abilities in Bash or Python - Database administration experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (four additional years of relevant work in lieu of a degree).
