The Role: As a member of our printer assembly production team you will be striving to provide quality products and services that exceed our customer's expectations. You'll be working as part of and coordinating the efforts of the printer assembly manufacturing team, responsible for following procedures for product manufacturing, equipment operation and safety requirements as documented on the standard operating procedures and company safety guidelines. You'll have an opportunity to contribute to an organization committed to and focused on improving product and process quality through continuous improvement, Lean principles, and other problem-solving techniques. Job Responsibilities: Operate production line machinery and computers. Perform equipment change-overs as required. Set-ups and operates various equipment used to manufacture printers and accessories. Records keeping for traceability. Performs in-process tests or takes samples to provide to quality technicians to ensure assemblies meet specifications Complete daily production logs, boards, and required reporting. Perform preventive maintenance/cleaning on production line machinery as required. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use, as required Clean and maintain work areas May generate, collect, move, store hazardous waste or prepare document(s) related to hazardous waste management. Proposes any identified improvement in the activity scope, contributing to savings opportunities. Maintain material supply level adhering to just in time manufacturing principles. Job Requirements: High school diploma / GED Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English. Strong hand eye coordination and dexterity Good vision and ability to distinguish between colors Frequent standing, kneeling, bending and /or lifting.
