NOTICE: For EMEA Jobs, please review the Privacy Policy here Job Responsibilities: The Senior Finance Analyst provides financial analysis and planning including budgets and forecasts, analysis of revenue and profitability, sales performance, operating metrics, and ad-hoc analyses. The individual will recommend improvements that are used in project pricing, measuring project profitability, and analyzing financial trends and business issues. Fundamental projects in this role include the development and management of budgeting and forecasting software and analytical tools, data warehouses, key performance metrics, and financial models. This role will be responsible for analyzing variance reports and preparing presentations for management. Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in analyzing financial performance and provides analysis, observations and recommendations to department managers on KPIs and department/project/program/ customer performance Participates in developing appropriate KPIs, financial reports and finance dashboards for Service Lines, squads, customers and operations to measure key drivers and results Participates in the development of budgets, forecasts, and projections Conducts sound assessments of business drivers with their effects on financial performance, creates financial models/analyses and analyzes key drivers of business problems. Works with operational leadership to formulate potential solutions and to track implementation of solutions to ensure accountability and measure success Performs market, customer, competitor, cost and risk analysis on projects and programs Participates in preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts. Supports operational leaders in understanding monthly financial status, results, and variance reporting and in identification of opportunities for improvement Develops financial portion of business cases and financial projections of business proposals Provides support on presentations, ad-hoc analysis, and other strategic initiatives as requested. Assists in development of pricing, compensation, and expense models (including documentation of underlying assumptions) as well as contractual terms that ensure profitability of proposals and provide clear specifications of deliverables and incremental revenue for additional services and performance Develops a high degree of business functional knowledge Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Education, Experience, and Competencies At least 3 years of financial analyst experience. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration required, CPA or MBA a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and possess a strong attention to detail Understanding of financial reporting processes. Willingness to accept ownership, responsibility, and accountability. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Able to consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A well organized and self-directed individual who can successfully navigate large organizational politics, is a team player and has an appropriate professional image. An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
