THE POSITION Are you curious about the behind-the-scenes efforts that maintain our state parks for everyone's pleasure? The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking a hardworking, reliable individual to work at this Pennsylvania State Park. Your role involves performing manual tasks to maintain cleanliness at Presque Isle State Park. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will function as a lead worker for employees performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties. Some of your tasks involve cleaning buildings, gathering waste and recyclable materials, and using and maintaining custodial supplies and cleaning equipment. You will perform assigned day-to-day custodial duties independently. You will also assist with training of new employees in the methods and materials used in cleaning. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as hours per week - 7-day operation. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Custodial Worker 1 (commonwealth title); or One year of experience performing custodial work.
