THE ROLE: IT Manager Job Summary: As an internal IT Manager with Presidio, you will be responsible defining future state data architectures, platforms and integrations that will bring you into contact with a diverse array of stakeholders from each department and product development team. You will work directly with our product development teams to develop advanced analytics and dashboards. In this role you will influence the definition of our Cloud-centric future state operational and analytic data architectures, ultimately helping us provide our business partners with the data and analytic tools they need to optimize and grow their operations. Travel Requirements: This is a remote position. In this role you will be expected to travel up to 10%. Job Responsibilities: Experience in leading data strategy initiatives including the architecture of modern cloud-based data platforms with technologies such as DataVerse/Data Lakes, ETL/ELT, Modern Data Warehouses and Analytics. Experience with tools and frameworks of the business intelligence ecosystem that supports real-time analytics and advanced scenarios such as delta update, change tracking, and access performance. Accountable for leading data analytics, data warehousing, data auditing and other data projects. Design and configuration of data movement, streaming and transformation (ETL) technologies. Effectively analyze data for insights and identify structural or data integrity issues. Shepherding, care and feeding of data warehouse platform and develop plans for remediating identified gaps. Provide technical database expertise and problem-solving support to resolve Database Management issues and assist in the monitoring of database performance. Development of the communication plan to the business groups by building presentations of the warehouse structure, creating templates to obtain data, documentation of warehouse model and contents. Lead and provide mentoring to other team members in the researching of Data Warehouse best practices. Required Skills: Hands on experience with design, implementation and operations of SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL DW, Data Lake Store (Azure and AWS), Synapse, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, LogicApps, and Alteryx Functional knowledge of programming scripting and data science languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, SQL, .NET, Java, Perl, SAS, R, etc. Experience with CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, etc. Delivery experience using modern methodologies especially SCRUM Agile, Waterfall, etc. Experience with multi-system data integration using industry standards such as Boomi. Extensive experience with enterprise data architecture for transactional systems, analytical platforms, data integration and large-scale data migration. Knowledgeable in multiple data management disciplines such as: Data governance, master data management, data integration, data modeling, SQL and relational database technologies, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics. In-depth knowledge of Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory and Synapse Innovative, passionate people leader able to assess, recruit, develop talent and manage high performance teams. Passion for working with the business to find innovative, cutting-edge solutions to improve revenue, control costs and facilitate continuous improvement across all business functions. Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills; ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments, with both technical and business groups internally and externally. Experience with visualization using technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik. Experience leading diverse teams, including the use of third-party resources. Familiarity with sales / supply chain data for VAR/services driven international company. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience 10 years of experience or more leading data strategy engagements involving the architecture of modern data platforms with technologies such as DataVerse/Data Lakes, ETL/ELT Automations and Cloud Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc. Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
