Our client is seeking an ELINT Analyst for their customer in McLean, VA. As an ELINT Analyst you will provide analytic support as part of a diverse team of experts performing a spectrum of military and intelligence analysis across a variety of different projects. The analysis work performed will primarily be focused on air and air defense systems and the creation of products used to communicate the information to a wide variety of customers. Your initial responsibilities will depend on existing proficiencies with substantial opportunity to expand your skills and expertise across the breadth of the team's responsibilities. This position will be located at a government facility in Northern, VA. Your essential job functions will include but will not be limited to: You will assess system operational trends, identifying newly deployed systems, evaluating capabilities, and integrating ELINT with other sources of intelligence to generate a comprehensive understanding of the threat picture. Collect, analyze, and exploit data from various sources to evaluate a country's integrated air defense systems (IADS). Provide expertise on current and future foreign capabilities in the air / air-defense domains. Author comprehensive threat assessments detailing the results of the above analysis. 4+ years' of experience working in or with the IS Intelligence Community. Experience with ELINT collection and analysis at either the operational or technical level. Experience with ELINT analysis tools such as MIST or GALE. A general knowledge of and interest in aircraft and/or air defense systems. Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment that is responsive to world events. Critical writing/proof-reading and public-speaking skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new skills/tools and a willingness to expand areas of knowledge as required. Self-starter able to understand general customer areas of interest and develop specific products and research lines in anticipation of future needs. Qualifications Desired: Familiarity with the IADS kill-chain. Experience with IADS modeling including: Improved Many-on-Many (IMOM), ESAMS, EADSIM, SUPPRESSOR, AFSIM, FalconView, or equivalent programs. Experience with various analytic tools including: GALE, MIST, THRESHER, BVI, or similar programs. Experience developing U.S. weapons systems. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree is desired or equivalent life experience. Clearance Requirements : Top Secret/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph . U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
