Our hosts are the warm friendly smile that welcomes our guests into the Hartville Kitchen dining experience. The host staff greets the guests and seats them according to how many are in their group. In addition to seating the guests, the host team often moves tables to accommodate larger groups. About the position: As part of our host/hostess team, you will experience the fun of greeting our guests and starting off the guest experience with a warm friendly smile. Check to see how many guests are at their party and seat them at tables to accommodate them. In addition to seating guests, the host team often moves tables and chairs to build tables to accommodate large groups. Performs other duties as requested by Management. Essential Duties: Open availability between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Inspect dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. Help set up tables for large groups. Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas. Ensure there is enough seating for all the guests. Assist in moving tables and chairs to accommodate large groups. Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and an appropriate number of seats. Provide guests with menus. Job Particulars: Must be willing to work Saturdays and some evenings. Must be able to speak English Ability to stand/walk constantly for long periods.
