General responsibilities and functions Responsible for performing quarterly audits at each of the assigned warehouses. Timely reporting of audit results within 3 days following completion of audit, especially high value/high impact issues. Ability to identify issues through quarterly audit Communication with ABMs on expectations when performing audits Communication with dept/senior mgrs on audit requirements Ensuring in conjunction with the regional Managers that new procedures are being adhered to as planned Act as liaison to Accounts Payable for AP shrink and Negative receiving for warehouses. We should have no unforeseen surprises subsequent to audit (i.e., no large inventory shrinks that were not noticed during the course of the audit, no major HACCP or safety violations that we get closed down for subsequent to the audit , but not noted in audit). Adding value outside the scope of the audit and communicating such. (The exchange of information between all Regions has to be radically improved.): Creating efficiencies Closing loopholes (or recommendation thereof ) that may be systemic to the entire Company Evaluation of personnel, training and follow-up. Finding issues in warehouses before they become issues and making senior management aware of this Identify trends and/or misinterpreted operational procedures and schedule Web based, live regional, or corporate training sessions for every dept on an ongoing basis. This training must produce results and be measured by testing and improvement in audit scores and compliance. Taking on of specific tasks assigned by director of operations and development and refinement of existing audit questions. Qualifications: Sr manager or inventory controller in position for min 3 years in good standings. Corporate personnel or merchandiser for min 5 years in good standings. Travel 75% Salary Information: $23.00-$25.00 Per Hour
