Full Job Description The Associate Director of International Trade Outreach leads initiatives to connect relevant stakeholders to NASDA trade initiatives. The position also supports programmatic, financial, compliance and administrative functions for our cooperative agreements with USDA-FAS . The position aids with the support of multiple trade activities both domestic and international and supports all NASDA's export promotional activities. ABOUT THE POSITION The essential functions include but are not limited to: Develop an outreach strategy for relevant stakeholders in each of NASDA's target countries including U.S. cooperators, regional associations and global initiatives Implement a social media strategy developed in conjunction with NASDA's communications team to highlight all trade activities including NASDA's trade shows and trade missions Assist with planning outbound and inbound trade mission itineraries for delegations to and from Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America, the UK and the EU Prepare regular reporting for both internal and external users Assure compliance with federal agencies including procurement documentation, contracts and budget management under Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) Assist with evaluation collection from trade missions, and other FAS-related activities. Assist in submitting information for funding applications for FAS grant programs on an annual basis Develop and implement follow-up strategies after missions to enhance the value of the program QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required Experience working with USDA, FAS, FAS cooperators, international agriculture sector is preferred An understanding of agriculture and NASDA is preferred 2-3 years of experience working in an international focused role Superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization Experience in social media strategy and implementation Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Exceptional critical thinking skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and resolve problems Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentations skills High level of independence in day-to-day tasks Self-motivated as well as a team player Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment Willing to learn new duties and technology-related skills as required SALARY $85,000- $100,000.00 WORK SCHEDULE This full-time, exempt position works at NASDA headquarters at 4350 North Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA, two blocks from the Ballston Metro Station (orange and silver lines). We offer a hybrid work schedule , with three days in the office and two days working from home.
