Overview The Rate Implementation team is leading the charge in introducing new CECONY alternative electric rate structures, aimed at enhancing customer benefits of AMI in a cost-effective manner. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Analyst. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing activities and working with key stakeholders and business units who own the interfaces that impact customer aspects related to the implementation of new rate offerings. The Senior Analyst will oversee numerous facets of each new rate structure introduction and provide unwavering support to team members to guarantee the successful implementation of these rates as they become available. The Senior Analyst will work alongside the Section Manager to engage internal stakeholders in the development of customer-facing tools and educational materials to support new and existing rate offerings. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Assist in the development and execution of rate design, while managing various customer aspects related to the implementation of alternative residential and small business rate options. Craft compelling educational materials and conduct internal training sessions, while also serving as a vital liaison for support activities specifically to the Call Center and back-office billing groups. Oversee numerous facets of each new rate structure introduction and provide unwavering support to team members to guarantee the successful implementation of these rates as they become available. Build strong relationships with customers and internal business units. This will include active participation in cross-functional teams and interfacing with various departments to meet all requirements and deadlines for related projects. Communicate project scope and objectives to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, community organizations, stakeholder groups, and policy makers. Evaluate regulatory commission statements, recommendations, and rulings as well as stakeholder comment filings related to rate designs. Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions, reports and interrogatory responses in regulatory proceedings and rate cases. Represent the Company at industry conferences and meetings with external stakeholders related to the development and execution of alternative rate options. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required. Qualifications Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field and with 4-8 years work experience or Master's Degree MBA and with 2 years work experience. Preferred Education/Experience Master's Degree MBA and with 2 years work experience. Relevant Work Experience 4-8 years' work experience in a related field, required. Demonstrated work experience performing independent, rigorous research within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment, required. Demonstrated experience analyzing information, large data sets across multiple systems, required. Working knowledge of regulatory processes such as preparation of rate proceedings, responding to commission orders and responses to interrogatories, preferred. Familiarity with CECONY customer operations processes, CC&B billing, rates, and tariffs, preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, required. Ability to effectively interact with customers, developers, energy service providers, regulators, Public Service Commission personnel, and all levels of management, required. Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines, required. Working knowledge of Company operations and policies, preferred. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), required. Licenses And Certfications Driver's License Required Additional Physical Demands Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers. Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
