The Vice President, of Strategic Finance plays a crucial role in driving financial performance, managing risks, and supporting the company's strategic objectives to maintain Wedgewood Pharmacy's financial health and competitiveness in the market. When will you work? This position will work a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Swedesboro office a minimum of 3x a week. What you'll do: Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, including creating budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth and profitability. Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them. This includes managing cash flow, credit, and liquidity risks, as well as ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Treasury Management: Manage the company's cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. Optimize working capital and liquidity management to support operational needs and strategic initiatives. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes. Evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives to maximize profitability and shareholder value. Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the FP&A Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop talent and build a high-performing team. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts. Provide financial insights and guidance to help drive growth and profitability. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function. Implement best practices and technologies to streamline financial operations and enhance reporting capabilities Who you are: Proven leadership skills inspiring great results with positive attitudes in a fast-paced team environment able to influence, train, and mentor staff to achieve objectives. Demonstrated business operations-oriented person with strong analytical skills. Established and detail-orientated self-starter with experience working in a hands-on environment able to prioritize workload and provide solutions and able to navigate through complex structure, systems, and processes. Ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, real-time team environment, prioritize projects and deliver quality results within tight time constraints. Passion for technology and genuine desire to make meaningful contributions on a team with big aspirations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven relationship-builder. What you've done: 10+ years of progressive experience, including a minimum of 3 years of management experience. BA/BS required, MBA strongly preferred. Experience in private-equity-backed companies or working directly for a Private Equity/Venture Capital firm Demonstrated ability as a connector who collaborates and always keeps the broader team in mind Experience identifying areas for improvement and implementation of more effective and efficient processes and strategies. Strong technical skills in finance, treasury, and financial management. Strong cash flow forecasting skills as well as financial modeling and business case analysis skills.
