WHAT YOU WILL DO We are seeking a Principal Machine Learning Researcher to work collaboratively with our highly talented team to further our research in generative adversarial networks (GANs), Latent Diffusion Models, and related content generation methods. The ideal candidate has experience developing new models, methods, and algorithms based on published research and related technology trends. The position requires both developing detailed solution architecture and hands on software development of the algorithms. The position is responsible for the design, supervision, and direct manipulation of model training, as well as coordination with team members in effective research and engineering practices to reduce training time and increase output quality. Candidates must have strong programming skills in Python, fluency with TensorFlow 2.x, and previous experience working with a team of research engineers to productize offerings WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields from a nationally accredited college/university OR at least 6 years of experience in a similar Machine Learning Engineering or Research role. U.S. citizenship is required. Experience with distributed/multi-gputraining of deep neural networks. Experience with generative modeling techniques (ex: GANs, Latent Diffusion). Proficiency in Image Processing, Image Analysis, and/or Computer Vision. Fluency with Python. Familiarity with other deep learning frameworks such as Keras,PyTorch, JAX, or ONNX. Fluency with TensorFlow 2.x. Strong communication ability to coordinate across engineering and customer-facing team. Experience mentoring junior staff on Machine Learning concepts and coding techniques. Desired: 10+ years Python experience. Post graduate degree in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence, preferably in Computer Vision or a related subject area. Knowledge oftraditional 3D rendering pipelines or physics-based simulations. Familiarity with distributed computing libraries such as Horovod, MPI, Dask, or Ray. Experience with the C programming language, CUDA, or openGL. Ability to work independently, in a SCRUM-like environment with strong desire to push your ideas into production, overcoming obstacles, in order to deliver impact. This is a remote position with preference for a candidate who is located within the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.
