Legal Billing Coordinator

TITLE: Legal Billing Coordinator TYPE: Direct Hire LOCATION: Remote, USA ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Fully Remote START DATE: October/November 2024 SHIFT: M-F, 1st Shift We are looking for a seasoned Legal Billing Coordinator. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of our billing operations. The right candidate will be tasked with the meticulous review, organization, and processing of billing activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance. We value candidates who bring at least three years of billing experience to the table, particularly those with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to data precision, untiring diligence in payment processing compliance, and robust Excel skills (intermediate level). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Must have Legal Billing experience using Aderant Coordinates billing and payment procedures for new and existing clients Audits and prepares billing files in a timely manner for attorney review Cleanses, creates and structure billing reports with a focus in data accuracy Utilizes excel to create functions, formulas-and manipulate large sets of data Manages the execution of the e-billing process when necessary Maintains accurate and order records for all clients' guidelines QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or billing/finance certification or courses preferred Law firm billing experience with Aderant is required Minimum of 3- 5 years' law firm billing experience Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with minimum direction Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word Intermediate level excel skills required Experience preparing legal billing reports Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner with Attorneys and clients on a daily basis Excellent communication and time management skills EOE STATEMENT We are an equal opportunity employer.
