Job Description Installed Building Products (IBP) is seeking an Inventory and Pricing Associate . Are you ready to look at the bigger picture and instigate change? The Inventory and Pricing Associate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our product, costing, and pricing database with JobCore . You'll dive into the details, ensuring precise and prompt reporting on warehouse inventories, work-in-process stocks, and material expenses across both branch and business unit levels. Roles & Responsibilities Job Core Item Maintenance Assist with the addition and maintenance of material items in JobCore Review database information for inconsistencies Assist in material cost review and maintenance Warehouse inventory observation Travel to branch and assist in warehouse physical counts, can average 2 days per month Perform test counts and help branch personnel with any inventory related issues. Discuss proper count procedures with branch personnel Discuss proper AR and AP cut off procedures with branch personnel Assist in branch inventory review and entry Review branch inventory count sheets as they are received Work with branch to correct any errors Summarize and prepare journal entry to make any necessary corrections. Branch material expense review Review branch material expense and investigate discrepancies from trend When errors are found work with/educate branch to prevent future errors Prepare journal entries to correct errors and provide comments explaining variances Balance Sheet Reconciliation Assist with balance sheet account reconciliation by preparing and maintaining balance sheet support schedules Link balance sheet schedules to account master sheet Print balance sheet schedules for inclusion into book Qualifications Associate's degree is required, though a bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting or Finance is preferred or 2+ years in related experience Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are preferred. Experience with MAS200 software and Microsoft Outlook are a plus Two or more years of experience with inventory reconciliations and/or database file maintenance is a plus.
