We have a client who is currently looking to expand their team and bring on an experience Financial Analyst - preferably with a strong FP&A background. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, providing insights and support to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, specifically within the defense contracting sector, and be proficient in Costpoint and Vena. This Position requires the Ability to obtain a DoD US Govt. High Level Public Trust Security Clearance (Due to the Rules and Regulations and Requirements from the US Govt and our Client - Candidates must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship or US Govt Permanent Resident - If Candidates already have an Active Public Trust or Secret Clearance then great!) Responsibilities Conduct detailed financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and variances. Assist in the development of financial models to support business initiatives and strategic planning. Utilize Costpoint for data management, reporting, and analysis related to contracts and project finances. Leverage Vena for planning, budgeting, and consolidation processes, ensuring seamless integration of financial data. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance and present findings to senior management. Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls within the finance function. Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as needed. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience, preferably within the defense contracting industry. Strong proficiency in Costpoint Profeicent with FP&A Tools Preferably Vena Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools. $75,000 - $85,000 a year
