Overview Job Description: HarborOne's Randolph Banking Center is hiring a Part-Time (20 hours per week) Banker. The Universal Banker service customers in a dual role involving Customer Service and Teller functions. Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Universal Banker will embrace the mission of relationship building and profitable growth. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Customer Experience Creates an exceptional customer experience by meeting customer needs and delivering solutions from initial greeting to fulfillment Continually exceeds customer service standards and expectations of the branch model including usage of technology, customer on-boarding, and building loyal relationships Educate and engage customers on additional financial solutions Promote and drive high customer service standards to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction Be the face of HarborOne Bank by presenting a professional, friendly and helpful appearance with every customer interaction Profitable Relationships Open new accounts and perform transactions as needed Acquire low cost core relationships in consumer and business categories Educates and engages customers in conversations to provide financial solutions and guidance Achieve success in all goal categories as assigned. Consistently meet individual performance goals and contribute to team objectives. Actively participate in all bank-wide sales campaigns and programs Fully adopt and master new tools for customer relationship management and on-boarding Branch Operations In the absence of the Branch Manager, may be required to take on additional responsibility to actively run the business Provide support as needed to conduct reconcilement in-Branch with Branch Settlement, Debit Cards, ATM, and Recyclers Process all transactions including basic teller processing as well as new account opening, loan origination and closings, general maintenance and cross-business referrals. Job Knowledge & Problem Solving Leverage problem solving and strong communication skills to resolve customer issues as quickly and efficiently as possible while focusing on deepening customer relationships Have in-depth understanding of all products, policies, regulations, and procedures Works as needed with Branch Manager to solve problems Qualifications Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of retail banking or retail experience. Prior experience working in a fast-paced sales, retail, hospitality, or banking environment is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills both in-person and over the phone. Ability to tailor features and benefits of solutions to customers with varying financial needs. Possesses outgoing team ordinated personality with outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated and exudes confidence with customers while presenting solutions. Strong ability to educate and connect customers to alternative channels by leveraging technology. Ability to adapt quickly to change. Ability to maintain composure and resolve customer complaints and requests independently under high pressure situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Compensation: $22 - $26 per hour plus incentives. Offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
