Fitter Duties: Fit structural steel to blueprint specifications. Execute and perform light metal fabrications following blueprint specifications. Perform fitting and welding based on blueprint specifications. Manufacture customers products according to blueprint specifications. Sometimes Metal Punching, Metal Shearing, Metal Saw Cutting, Metal Welding, etc. Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
