Customer service experience is required as is general automotive & mechanical knowledge. Benefits Competitive pay Hourly plus commission bonuses Paid Vacation to start No Late Evenings No weekends Training Career growth opportunities Responsibilities Welcome customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain necessary vehicle information Advise customers on necessary services, recalls, routine maintenance and other repairs needed Prepare repair orders showing time, cost, and labor estimates Compose detailed descriptions of customer concerns on repair orders to familiarize technicians on work to perform Explain all diagnoses, work performed, and any repair order charges to the customer Help identify mechanical problems by carefully listening to customer concerns, doing visual inspections, and if needed, conducting road tests Answer incoming service calls, schedule service appointments, and update customers while always maintaining excellent communication Qualifications Excellent communication skills 2 years of advisor experience, GM dealership preferred Highly organized and eagerness to improve Willingness to take initiative Computer literacy, quality writing and grammar skills Ability to handle multiple tasks easily Ability to provide quality customer service Friendly, outgoing personality We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
