It is required that the Communications Manager have the following certifications: 6 a. ITIL® Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certifications and the DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute. Minimum experience is 5 - 10 years and a related Bachelor's degree. Desired: It is STRONGLY PREFERRED that the Communications Manager have the following: a. At least eight (8) years' experience of progressively greater authority and responsibility, in roles creating, leading and managing a broad range of IT-related communications across multiple forms of media and types of audiences. b. Bachelor's degree in Communications. c. Demonstrated experience with an wide range of communications methods, media and tools, in a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope. d. Demonstrated ability for quality oral and written communication relevant to IT infrastructure for a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope. e. Demonstrated ability serving as the lead communications consultant for information technology department heads or higher-ranking executives, for an IT or IT infrastructure department approximately the size and scope of ITIOD.
