Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Lead Housekeeper DIVISION: Housekeeping REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager LOCATION: Lodging CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Seasonal/Hourly POSITION: Alongside the Housekeeping Manager helps to supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping staff while promoting a safe environment and quality service that ensures guest satisfaction and the protection of all assets with minimal expenses. This position maintains the maintenance and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, helps to supervises laundry operations, recommends, and implements procedural changes and monitors inventories and expenses. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Previous Management Experience welcomed but not needed. 1+ years of experience in housekeeping field. Spanish fluency required Ability to coach and lead a team in a positive manner. Ability to work in a team environment, side by side with staff. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain flexible with a schedule that workload dictates. Ability to prioritize workload. The ability to analyze report data, prepare reports, initiate correspondence, and create schedules, mainly when executive housekeeper is off. Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the housekeeping team, including training, and performance management. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe cleaning operations. Inspect the daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back of house to ensure cleanliness and compliance with guest standards. Alongside Housekeeping Manager conduct daily stand-up meetings with the housekeeping team, Front of House team, and other teams as needed to address guest issues, maintenance issues, and room readiness. Assist team with housekeeping, public areas, and laundry duties as needed to ensure completion of each day's goals. Inventory, order, receive, and restock housekeeping supplies at an appropriate level. Assist Homeowner Services Manager as needed, including inventory and restocking. Help monitor and verify staff hours. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, striving to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with safety programs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Log and follow-up on maintenance issues, coordinate clean up as necessary. Maintain a positive work environment and foster teamwork among housekeeping staff.
