About the job Director of Business Development We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our skilled nursing liaison team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving growth and increasing patient census across multiple skilled nursing facilities in Maryland (Cambridge & Easton). Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to boost patient census across facilities. Lead and mentor the marketing, liaison, and admissions teams to foster a culture of excellence and accountability. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and community organizations to generate referrals and drive patient admissions. Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the healthcare landscape. Monitor team performance, census trends, and marketing efforts, providing regular reports to senior management on progress and outcomes. Ensure all business development efforts align with the organizations mission, vision, and patient care standards. Actively participate in community events, healthcare conferences, and networking opportunities to elevate the company's visibility. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare marketing and business development, preferably with some leadership experience. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams, including admissions personnel. In-depth knowledge of the Maryland healthcare landscape, including regulations and referral processes. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A strong desire for career advancement within the organization, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to professional development. Compensation: Salary of $100,000 per year, or more based on experience and candidacy. Performance-based incentives tied to census growth and team success.
