We are looking for a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. We're helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient focused. This role will be inpatient, and PRN. Primarily the duties of the role will be pre and post op care and determining plan of care. The shifts will include days, evenings and weekends and be a commitment of at least 2, 10 hour shifts per month. The ideal candidate will have background experience in Cardiac surgery or a surgical setting.
