Human Resources Manager - Chelmsford MA(local candidates only) 4 days onsite, 1 remote - starting salary at $95k base Are you an experienced Human Resources Manager looking for a role where you can grow your skills, work in a team environment, and be valued? Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Stay current on federal, multi-state, and case law changes, regulatory updates, and other legislative issues. Advise management on necessary actions and maintain HR policies and the Employee Handbook. Process bi-monthly payroll, maintain employee data and reporting, and assist with monitoring the company wage and salary structure, including bonuses and raises. Provide proactive and reactive support to the business, managing and resolving employee relation issues with managers and team leaders. Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting applicants. Manage employee orientation and onboarding. Manage all employee benefit programs, including enrollment, disenrollment, monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices, and liaison with brokers. Work with the Learning and Development Specialist to coordinate training and track participation. Assist with the implementation of company safety and health programs, including tracking and posting OSHA-required data and filing reports. Assist with organizational development processes, addressing succession planning, workforce development, employee retention, organization design, and change management. Facilitate employee communication and feedback through company meetings, suggestion programs, satisfaction surveys, focus groups, one-on-one meetings, and more. Provide HR data analytics to Executive Management. Help monitor and foster a positive organizational culture that supports company goals and promotes employee satisfaction. Assist with planning and executing company events such as parties and luncheons. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, with active PHR or SPHR certification. 5 years of HR Generalist experience in a small to medium-sized, growing company. Payroll experience required, Paylocity preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws. Solid knowledge of benefits, administration, recruiting, and compliance. Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and good judgment. Attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Experience with software implementation is a plus. Proactive, trustworthy, and responsive.
