At Broadwind Inc. we "Think BIG" about the important role our Senior Financial Analyst plays to our corporate office and in supporting our three business units. This position will be based out of our Cicero, IL facility with an opportunity to have a flexible/hybrid schedule. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key member of the finance team, reporting to the CFO. This position will be responsible for developing/updating financial models and business and market trend analysis that will help guide business and investment decisions for the Company. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing periodic financial analysis, including management reports, consolidation and analysis of quarterly forecasts, annual and long-range strategic plans, and provide support from a treasury perspective. Job Responsibilities: Analyze financial data for driving business decisions create financial models for decision supportPerform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics trackingManage the consolidation of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Long-Range plansOversee the financing of equipment purchases or other cap ex related projects Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviewsProvide support relative to treasury related tasks and develop banking relationshipsWork closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision supportIncrease productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting toolsPerform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation compsDevelop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiativesSupporting Senior Management Team and businesses with in-depth analysisAssist in the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team Assist in the monthly close and ad hoc initiatives that support the business units strategy Prepare internal Flash Reports, and Monthly Business Review (MBR) package related to the corporate office and consolidated results Assist the accounting team in developing and monitoring policy and procedures to meet requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Assist and maintain a SOX-compliant control environment over reporting systems, including controlling common chart of accounts at source ERP systems and consolidation and reporting systemsAll other duties as assigned
