Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Special Projects Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems, particularly in projects that require advanced technical skills, such as retrofits, equipment upgrades, and custom installations. Responsibilities: Lead and execute special HVAC projects, including system replacements, retrofits, custom installations, and large-scale equipment upgrades. Troubleshoot and repair issues that arise throughout the installation process. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Perform detailed system inspections and tests to verify compliance with safety standards and building codes. Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians as needed. Communicate project updates and technical issues to clients in a clear, professional manner. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, with an emphasis on special projects, complex systems, or system replacements. Universal EPA certification. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units and split systems. Experience installing or servicing chillers and/or boilers is a plus. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in various environments, including rooftops, mechanical rooms, and confined spaces. Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. We Offer: Weekly paychecks - $25 - $32/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
