We are searching for the best talent for Facilities Engineer to be in Grecia, Alajuela Purpose: As a Facilities Engineer you will play an important role to identify, predict, prevent, and manage problems and failures in facilities area. Including: maximizing asset performance, planning and executing tests to ensure performance and reliability integrating engineering and operational systems, assessing system safety issues, monitoring potential risks related to safety and environmental issues. You will be the computerized maintenance management system owner for Facilities supporting the operations of calibration and MRO. You will be responsible for : * Ensuring metrology and MRO operations, both for Facilities Management operations. * Support the maintenance management system by giving support to users and third parties, granting appropriate privileges to the management of the system, including inventories of the spare parts, metrology and Facilities maintenance technicians and engineers. * Follow-up on the execution of audit observations: procedures, work instruction, documentation, and job plan updates. * Guides efforts to align tasks to work orders in a controlled, repeatable, and traceable manner * Develop reports to describe and illustrate systems and repair features, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations. * Support the technical training of its staff, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills both to perform their duties and to comply with local and international guidelines that apply to the area. * Registration of new assets in Maximo. * Ensure the training adherence for the Facilities team. * >4 years of experience in facilities area, calibration and spare parts. * College / University Degree in Electrical engineering / Electro - mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical, industrial engineering or similar. * 5 years of related experience in building management system and environmental management system * Experience in materials requirement planning. * In-depth knowledge in engineering codes ANSI, NFPA, local codes. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong leadership skills driving operational excellence, promoting a culture of compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team. * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. * Strong adherence to EHS requirements. * English Language: min. 50% (written and oral)
