Business Development Executive - Lexology PRO Department: Commercial Employment Type: Full Time Location: New York Reporting To: Matthew Oginsky Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 / year Description Why LBR? Key Responsibilities Initiate, develop and maintain strong relationships with potential customers to win new business and grow our client base. Thoroughly research and understand the needs and structures of prospective businesses to be highly targeted and effective in your approach. Negotiate and manage multi-stakeholder sales with global clients and manage their procurement processes. Occasional travel to client sites/events/conferences within territory Provide prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations, in person or online. Accurately report internal administration: CRM activity log, sales pipeline forecasting, monthly reports to management and proposal preparation Build a strong working knowledge of Legal intelligence space and company product positioning. Work closely with Client Services and Account Management to ensure a good onboarding experience for new clients. Work closely with our Marketing and Content teams to provide valuable market as well as specific client feedback to help shape the future of the product. Skills Knowledge and Expertise One years plus of B2B New Business sales experience using a defined sales methodology Proven track record of exceeding targets Sales motivated, team-focused attitude, and willingness to collaborate with peers Organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond quickly Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication Proficient using MS Office and CRM systems.
