Position Overview: The Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant Account Manager will support the Senior Account Manager in servicing and expanding the portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role involves client interaction, policy management, and ensuring superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of commercial insurance lines, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client needs. Key Responsibilities: Client Support: Assist in managing client relationships by responding to inquiries, providing policy information, and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Policy Administration: Aid the Account Manager in the preparation, processing, and management of insurance policies, endorsements, certificates, and renewals. Account Management: Maintain and update client records with accuracy, ensuring all information is current and complete. Monitor policy renewals, endorsements, and claims. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates to offer clients accurate and current information. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to client accounts, including correspondence, reports, and other essential materials. Coordination: Work closely with insurance carriers, brokers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate policy issuance, amendments, and claims processing. Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to clients by addressing their needs, offering timely responses, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance or a similar role preferred. Education: High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in insurance, business, or a related field is advantageous. Licensing: Property & Casualty License Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with insurance management systems and software is a plus.
