POSITION PURPOSE To develop new customers and opportunities for add value products. Manage sales for direct OEM business and steel distribution centers for automotive end-users. Support rest of local SSAB organization (SSS) with all SSE sales policies and governance, price strategy and product strategy ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Negotiation of current business on regular cadence. Foster current customer relationships and establish new ones. Responsible for assigned area with special focus on Premium product sales strategy development. Sales management tools; Sales Force, Price configurator Forecasting Tool Business development, identifies all possible opportunities, which can be offered by SSAB. Identifying target customers and strategy as it relates to overall growth objectives. Interfacing with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development as part of a working team. Regular and reliable attendance QUALIFICATIONS Competencies and Experience Required: Driver's license Knowledge in metals products, special products, and Automotive. Experience establishing and growing relationships with OEMs Customer Service Experience Negotiation experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, notably Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to work autonomously; self-starting Preferred: Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business Preferred: MBA SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / DIRECT REPORTS This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
