Position Summary Ohio Magnetics, located in Maple Heights, OH seeks a talented, entrepreneurial Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to manage and grow key accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for sales growth and business expansion. The SAM will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and territories and will work closely with internal teams and Manufacturers Representatives to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs, drive business growth and deliver sales and growth objectives. This is an individual contributor role and will cover the continental United States with an emphasis on Midwest and south Atlantic states. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for prospecting and managing sales pipeline. Responsible for executing annual sales objectives, budgets, and project plans. Develop relationships with customers and Manufacturers Representatives within the territory. Maintain a detailed understanding of competitive activities and communicate recommendations in response to market conditions and trends. Design and recommend sales and marketing programs; set short- and long-term sales strategies for the territory. Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking, inclusive of daily sales activities within the territory. Empowered to make decisions within the territory in partnership with functional peers. Align commercial and operational initiatives to achieve business objectives. Attend trade shows and customer events. Submit regular activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships. Experience and Education Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field. Experience with Steel & Scrap recycling industries highly desirable. 5 or more years in outside sales in an industrial or technical sales role. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, well organized. Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated decision making and strategic account management. Advanced skill with all MS Office products. Travel Required Must possess a valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
