I'm Matt Metropulos, the Southeast Regional Human Resources Manager here at Twin Maples Specialty. I'm excited to share that we're hiring a Business Development Manager located in Alpharetta, GA! In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong wholesale broker relationships throughout the United States, and driving premium growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of wholesale brokerage and the insurance industry, with a proven track record in business development. Location: Alpharetta, GA Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and expand the client base. Develop and implement strategic business development and marketing plans to drive growth and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, wholesale brokers, and other key stakeholders. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth. Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, marketing, and product development, to help build and grow a long-term profitable business. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote Twin Maples Specialty and stay informed about industry developments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the insurance industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and industry regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Your first 30 days will be largely focused on learning the finer points of our products and market; you may not engage directly with clients in that time but don't worry, you'll be plenty busy learning!
