JOB OVERLAY As a Director Finance & Accounting you will have significant oversight over both the accounting and FP&A responsibilities got a complex global manufacturer benefiting from the run up on spend for data centers and other technology related components to the semiconductor space. Budgeting and Forecasting including leading the annual budgeting process and annual operating plan for a $100M P&L Variance Analysis including keeping just in time tabs on financial performance against budgets and forecasts all while providing insightful recommendations for support to the top line. Management Reporting around detailed management reports outlining our double-digit organic growth YoY, ensure dashboards benefit sound decision making, highlight KPIs/metrics around trends, and provide actionable insights to management. Cost Analysis in this standard costing environment including analyzing cost drivers, identify cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with operational teams to optimize production efficiency. Prepare manufacturing reports for business unit reporting which includes key customer and product profitability analysis. Benchmark manufacturing metrics, purchase price variance for raw materials, process order variances, work in process, inventory levels and turns, velocity of SKU turnover, obsolete inventory, labor costing, and capital assets. Seldom but important communication with global financial systems team to ensure Oracle Fusion and FCCS is working in conjunction with a timely month-end close calendar. Review and manage the transactional accounting team around AP and AR processes and assist with problem-solving as required. Support Senior operations leadership with insights on pricing, profitability, and business performance. This includes contributing to P&L budgeting and re-forecasting processes in collaboration with the CFO, VP of Global Finance, and Group Controller. Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of market changes, regulatory developments, or operational shifts on financial outcomes. Understand manufacturing operations (walk the floor) Partner with the Plant Manager and supply information to inform decision-making Provide financial advice to constituencies in a matrix environment, including Plant Managers, Product General Managers, and the Sales organization DESIRED EXPERIENCE 7+ years of progressive accounting management experience including cost accounting, finance, or general accounting Manufacturing and/or Cost Accounting experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated analytical skills Computer proficiency Must be a self-starter able to handle difficult reporting situations Email your word document resume to and reference the subject as Director of Accounting & Finance Posted On: Monday, June 17, 2024
