The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. Assist MD/Directors in the ongoing origination of debt transactions for corporate clients. This includes preparing pitch materials, generating comps for pricing exercises and preparing credit write ups for the approval process, including information related to the institutional and bank investor communities who are the principal investors in Capital Markets products. Extensive execution work will be required, and deal flow is consistent Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of underwriting applications, internal committee memorandums and market commentaries Assist in coordinating arrangements and documentation for internal deal approvals Assist in review of deal documents including term sheets, mandate papers and credit agreements on MUFG-led deals Assist in the execution of MUFG-led loan and bond transactions Assist in preparation of deal marketing materials (CIM, LP) Assist team members in bookrunning process - occasionally communicate with external clients Prepare syndication trackers Prepare and manage primary deal workspace Log and track pipeline and transaction related fees Prepare submissions for league table reporting Assist in overseeing and training analysts Other various responsibilities as directed Qualifications: TECHNICAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES Strong time management skills, ability to work flexibly under pressure with attention to detail Exceptional business writing skills Ability to integrate into a team and develop working relationships with MUFG staff in different cultures and geographies Developed skills in credit and financial analysis, accounting, bond and derivative mathematics Advanced knowledge of Bloomberg, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Basic public debt capital markets knowledge Proactivity and confidence in dealing with senior management at issuers and investors Ability to integrate into a team and develop working relationships with MUFG staff in different cultures and geographies. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree Desired/Plus: Series 7, 63, 79 CFA (or on CFA track) The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $200K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
