The Assistant Videographer will work directly for the Videographer & Editor and is responsible for assisting in planning, filming, and editing videos used for a variety of projects to promote Tree House Brewing products, locations, career opportunities, and culture. We are looking for an organized, creative, and mechanical videographer with a strong work ethic centered on excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships and communications with all managers, employees, customers, and clients at Tree House Brewing. This role is well suited for an individual who has initiative, can get up to speed on our culture and processes quickly, takes pride in minor details, and understands their impact when considered as a collective whole in the brewery. This position is full-time, based in Charlton, MA but will require workdays at other facilities, currently including South Deerfield, Tewksbury, and Sandwich MA, as well as Woodstock CT. As Assistant Videographer, you will be responsible for the following: Assist in successfully delivering video/audio files on various platforms, and any other elements that meet the needs and specifications of Tree House Brewing Location sound mixing Support the Videographer in setting up, tearing down, calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining a variety of cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props Uploading and organizing project footage, exports, and versions in databases to ensure ease of access Ensuring that all necessary individuals, sets, and spaces are properly prepared for film projects As needed, working to edit film, including, as needed, inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video, and adding computer graphics and special effects to a video Staying up to date with industry trends and tools so that projects will be of the highest quality and uniquely suited for the Tree House brand Role Requirements: 2-3 years of proven work experience as a sound technician or videographer/editor Proficient in location sound mixing Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency with editing software such as PhotoShop, Lightroom, Final Cut, and Premiere Pro. Creativity and attention to detail Ability to work under deadline pressure and organization to manage time efficiently Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story Flexibility and good listening skills A demonstrable portfolio of exceptional work.
