About the role The Omni Fraud Analyst has the responsibility to provide comprehensive risk assessment and transaction reviews safeguard against fraudulent activities across all KnitWell brands. The specialist will utilize KnitWell's advanced fraud management platforms and various internal systems to monitor, analyze and communicate new fraud patterns. The impact you can have Daily review of all orders held in the fraud review que through the fraud prevention systems. Responsible for ensuring the fraud que is cleared before end of day shipping cut-off. Identify, analyze, and communicate fraud patterns to management, and provide recommendations for loss mitigation as needed Daily review of 'Alternate Payment reports' generated via email for payments that do not systematically flow into our fraud systems. Responsible for the monthly chargeback review and analysis of all uncaught fraudulent orders. Stay on top of current fraud trends and tactics. Analyze new fraud patterns and adapt detection strategies to address evolving threats effectively. Must be able to leverage disparate information sources, including websites and third-party tools, to research customer orders in a timely manner. Ensure transactions are valid, created for legitimate business reasons, and do not pose a risk to the reputation of client without compromising on customer experience or financial losses In depth analysis of current fraud rings found based on fraud names, zip codes, velocity trends, e-gift cards, and emerging trends. Document and report findings from fraud investigations. Prepare detailed reports on fraud trends, incidents, and the effectiveness of implemented fraud prevention measures. Ad hoc scope analysis as needed You'll bring to the role Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Knowledge of fraud risks associated with credit and debit cards 2 plus years of fraud prevention experience in the Omni retail environment, preferred. In depth knowledge of fraud management applications, a plus. Excellent problem solving analytical and investigative skills, detail-oriented, independent thinking, and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail MS Office suite with Excel skills. Ability to work flexible hours.
