Role Summary: The FP Movement Senior Copywriter is responsible for creating persuasive, brand-appropriate copy in support of Movement and wellness-based products via FP Movements digital properties. In addition, this role is tasked with writing compelling and strategic SEO-driven copy and ad hoc creative copy projects. Qualified applicants should have a strong command of the English language, a deep knowledge of activewear fashion and terminology, and an inherent understanding of the FP Movement brand. Role Responsibilities: PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE/DESIGN INTERFACE Partner with Design/Production + Buying teams on Product Knowledge (PK) sheet processes. Ensure information is aligned across teams (especially with Movement Copywriter) so that relevant, accurate and concise information is making its way to our customer via site and all outbound channels. Work closely with Design and Legal teams to vet claims or copyrights as needed. Track impact of copy refinements as attributed to return rates. IMPLEMENTATION OF ALL SITE INITIATIVES + NEW/KNOWN BEST PRACTICES Product Highlights Initiative: implement strategy/continued rollout of this site functionality, beginning with performance and outerwear businesses, working closely with Design on most relevant specs, Graphic design for relevant iconography and web production for implementation. Lead Fabric Naming/Fabric Site Experience: In partnership with the Movement Merchandising Manager, work closely with Merch, Buying, Design, Analytics/SEO, and Legal teams on timeline, ideation and rollout. Seasonal/Technical Landing Pages + Landing Page Updates (Ski + Outerwear) Maintain and create SEO-rich copy blocks across site in tandem with Analytics team. CREATIVE COPY -- ALL OUTBOUND + CUSTOMER-FACING Partner with Merch team to optimize Email Marketing (4 sends per week and counting). Partner with Digital Marketing to monitor and evaluate Email Subject Line strategy and testing. Partner with Customer Communication head for SMS/App PUSH copy. Identify, execute and track content for home page, inlines, toppers, crawlable text across categories. Own and develop all high-level brand campaign creative copy needs, from ideation of handles/creative hooks through final copy package. EDITORIAL STRATEGY Partner closely with Editorial Director and Merch on concept, creation and rollout of MVMT-brand-specific editorial strategy, inclusive of wellness and movement/performance. Generate content and leverage freelance (or vendor-driven) content for select monthly messaging. Partnering closely with Merch on editorial site experience and best practices - integrating across site through inline, PDP and/or top nav placements. Partner with marketing on quarterly co-op pieces. WHOLESALE NEEDS Trade Shows: all signage, creative copy needs for take-away decks All creative copy needs for quarterly/monthly creative line sheets ALL STORE + PRINT CATALOG INITIATIVES Own and develop technical copy for seasonal and monthly store signage drops, to support both Movement and wellness. Own and develop technical/creative copy for catalog in tandem with Merch Role Qualifications: Strong command of English language, grammar, and spelling Ability to write quickly to meet tight deadlines Strong communication skills for cross-functional success Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work independently to meet deadlines Experience in activewear space a plus Education: Bachelors Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, English, Literary Studies, Marketing, or related field.
