Your Role As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for a department(s), including the management of Supervisors within the East Coast fulfillment center (Pittston, PA) and reporting to the Sr. Operations Manager. What You'll Do Responsible for all aspects of employee supervision, not limited to-interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation. Responsible for coaching and development of supervisors. Responsible for operational metrics and KPIs. Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers. Leading and developing a team of Supervisors and hourly associates Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed Mentoring, training, and developing Supervisors and associates. Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and SOPs to Supervisors and associates Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Operations Managers to balance labor. Evaluating performance objectives and metrics to determine department productivity requirements to achieve LOS, accuracy, and quality expectations. Partnering with other managers to share best practices across shifts and the network. What You Bring 4 or more years related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous management experience in a distribution/fulfillment center.
