POSITION As a Regional Director (South) at Allspring Global Investments, you will have the opportunity to drive sales and make a significant impact. Reporting to our Head of Intermediary Sales - US, you will be responsible for strategically covering RIAs in the Intermediary Sales channel across the Southern region of the United States. Your main objective will be to promote and sell our world-class suite of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, direct indexing, money funds, and DCIO business to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). CANDIDATE We are seeking a highly motivated and proven sales professional who is ready to take on the challenge of driving sales in strategically important and large market geographic areas. With your expertise and ambition, you will be instrumental in expanding our market share and growing our business. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with sales management to provide valuable feedback and insights on industry trends and market demands, enabling us to better serve our Financial Advisor clients. Achieve top-tier market share at the territory level, focusing on our key RIAs and products. Keep our Financial Advisors up to date with the latest investment strategies and business management ideas, ensuring they have the best resources to succeed. Excel in specific asset classes, compete for a spot, and deliver flawless proposals that exceed expectations. Make use of the experience and skills of outside speakers, managers who have successfully managed portfolios, and specialists in our products to enhance client involvement throughout the year. Strengthen existing partnerships and expand client access by developing relationships with key Centers of Influence, increasing sales opportunities. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and deepen existing relationships, ensuring our products remain highly competitive. Collaborate with home office platform investment strategy consultants and key accounts relationship managers to successfully implement strategies across internal and external distribution channels. Serve as an RIA specialist when existing clients transition to, or establish their own, RIA, partnering with B/D counterparts. Showcase your dedication to success by consistently upholding performance standards, actively working towards business unit objectives with integrity and efficiency. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success and established relationships with top RIAs. Experience surpassing established performance goals, showcasing your ability to consistently achieve outstanding results. Solid knowledge of the wealth and investment management industry, including its unique needs, constraints, and opportunities. FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) certifications. Reside within the territory. Focused on achieving goals, motivated to excel, and dedicated to providing excellent service. High energy, sense of urgency, and a strong work ethic. Passionate about building a business within the framework of a large public company, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach. Ability to influence and draw consensus across Allspring to create innovative solutions. Exemplary integrity and the personal presence to represent Allspring with enthusiasm and distinction. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent relationship building skills, combined with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment that values independent thinking. Strong problem-solving ability with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong presentation and facilitation skills to effectively engage and inspire clients. Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time to meet with clients and expand our business presence. Preferred designations: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA).
