In this role, an M&A Advisor will have the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders at our firm, participate in all aspects of our business and work closely with management teams at our portfolio companies. Please note that this is a 1099 contractor role, and no base salary is provided. Responsibilities: Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information Conduct industry and company due diligence Prepare and review pitch/business origination materials and other presentations: develop and review pitches and other presentations and be an integral part of the team in delivering these presentations Prepare and review information memoranda and other transaction documents: draft key marketing and key transaction related documents Drive transaction execution, from the pitch phase through marketing and closing of a transaction Perform valuation and ad hoc financial analysis Assist in the marketing and execution of existing engagements Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors Communicate effectively with all members of the team Assist in business development Preferred Qualifications: Excellent attention to detail Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ready to assume a high level of responsibility Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance Extensive financial modeling and valuation experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred Prior Investment Banking analyst experience and/or hands-on M&A experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously Legally authorized to work in the United States Currently holds a FINRA Series 63 plus a Series 79 or 82 license or willingness to obtain necessary licenses This is a commission only role, no base: Competitive splits on success fees.
