Overview: Amyx is seeking to hire an Acquisition Governance and Oversight Division Lead to support our US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) CSS contract in the DC/Metro area. Responsibilities: Demonstrated strong managerial experience organizing, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff. The Acquisition Governance and Oversight Division Lead will assist the CSS Program Manager in providing required team leadership and guidance, program management vision; consult with senior leadership as needed in support of the AGO day to day operations. Acquisition Governance and Oversight Division Lead shall assist the CSS Program Manager providing qualified and experienced personnel and shall provide all supervision to its personnel ensuring each of the task areas below: - Innovation, Quality and Strategic Planning - Process Management and Lean Six Sigma - Knowledge Management - Acquistion Workforce Managment Support - Strategic Human Capital Planning - CBP Acquistions Governance Support - Performance Planning and Metrics Support - Audit Liaison and Tracking Qualifications: Required Skills and Qualifications: Quality Management Experience Lean Six Sigma process experience Must have an active CBP Background Investigation. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred, Black Belt Desired Experience and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Freedom of Information Act, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Manual (HSAM) and other regulatory and policy supplements. DHS Management Directive 102-01 and its supporting guides, DoD 5000, Program Management Institute guides and/or Federal Acquisition Institute guidelines.
