Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Salary : $70,000-$90,000 (negotiable based on experience) Location : Hybrid, Chattanooga, TN Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM; On-call one week every 12-13 weeks Overview : We're hiring a Project/Field Engineer to implement technology solutions with high customer satisfaction. You'll handle technical projects, including network/server upgrades, configurations, and documentation. Work Type : Travel from home to client sites, or work remotely for cloud migration. Occasional office visits required. Company truck provided. Responsibilities : 80% of the week working remotely on: Network upgrades (firewalls, switches, wireless installs) Server migrations (Windows, VMWare, on-prem/cloud) M365 & Azure migrations (Azure AD, Teams, SharePoint) 20% on ticket escalations, primarily on-site: Network/firewall troubleshooting, VPN setups, server upgrades Requirements : 5+ years of system engineering/IT support in MSP Cloud migration experience, Office 365 or Azure. Strong experience in Microsoft system administration, Active Directory, and file/print server management Experience with M365, Azure, virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V) Familiarity with RMM software and cloud migration projects Strong understanding of server & storage solutions (Dell/HP/NetApp/EMC) Experience with firewalls, switches, VLANs (SonicWALL, Cisco, WatchGuard, Fortinet) Knowledge of emerging tech like hyper-convergence, SD-WANs, hybrid cloud Valid driver's license & clean driving record About the Company : Out client is an MSP providing network management, cybersecurity, 24/7 support, and IT services, while leading in hardware sales and support.
