Senior Software Engineer, Edge Computing Development

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team focused on delivering innovative solutions for edge computing development. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design and implement systems solutions, contributing to fundamental changes in the industry. You will be responsible for designing and coding innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and integrating industry standard AWS systems to scale operations in a fast-growing organization. Additionally, you will have opportunities for professional growth through mentorship and code reviews from senior engineers. Key Responsibilities: Conceive, design, and bring innovative systems solutions to the market Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment Lead fundamental changes in the industry Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative systems solutions to the market Integrate industry standard AWS systems to scale operations in a fast-growing organization Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience 2+ years of design or architecture of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience Contributions to new and current systems architecture and design Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
