Corporate Gift/Promo Sales Account Manager The Corporate Sales Account Manager will act as a primary point of contact to direct customers and distributors within the Corporate Sales Channel at Benchmade Knife Co. Particular emphasis will be placed on initiating, maintaining and building promo distributor accounts (PPD). Responsibilities to include supporting direct customers and distributors with quotes and sales inquiries, as needed. During peak times support to Corporate Coordinator will be expected with lead follow up, generating quotes and order entry. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with the corporate gift distributor base, identify and support growth, assist with forecasting, and proactively work towards a frictionless customer experience for all accounts. Communication may occur by phone or email. Some travel may be required to support sales at trade shows or events. Responsibilities: Owner of Distributor and Client experience Manage customer expectation through effective communication Revenue accountability to monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals Manage sales funnel from prospect to PO Lead generation and prospecting activities Align internal resources to maximize customer outreach and successful conversion to BKC Proactively reach out to potential corporate clients to introduce our premium knife products and gift offerings Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their unique gifting needs Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative improved ordering processes Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to order fulfillment and post-sale follow-up Continuously seek out new opportunities to expand our corporate client base and increase sales Attend trade shows and industry events to network and showcase our innovative knife products Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract and onboard new corporate promo distributors Provide exceptional training and support to our distribution partners, empowering them to become experts in our product line and sales strategies Collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to align on promotional initiatives and create engaging sales collateral Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation Regularly monitor distributor performance and implement strategies to optimize their success Serve as a brand ambassador, fostering strong relationships with both distributors and end-customers Qualifications: Some college coursework completed, and 3-4 years of sales experience, preferably with a premium brand is required. Equivalency to the qualification standard will also be considered. Previous experience in the promo industry is highly preferred Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is preferred Strong computer skills with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of Syspro (ERP) is preferred but not required Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal Able to work independently and be flexible to address ever changing priorities, with strong accountability Must have a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines Positive working attitude Proficient MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) as well as contact management software experience. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills. Previous sales experience required Working Conditions: Working Environment: Hybrid office position in a manufacturing facility Available in office up to 3 days per week Up to 30% travel, which may include some weekends. Physical Demands: Sitting and talking on the phone for long periods of time. Able to set-up/take-down trade show booth & handle related materials, up to 50 lbs.
