As our nextRegional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business and overall sales management of our Nutrition portfolio for Pets in North America. You will manage existing business and develop business with new customers. You will be supported by the technical sales management team with members in Europe and Thailand and work closely together with product management, supply chain and marketing to reach the business objectives in North America. This is an Individual Contributor role within the Animal Nutrition (AN) sales team, reporting to the General Manager of Nutrition and Pharma in North America. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or a degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Zoology, or equivalent knowledge by experience. Three (3) years of experience in sales and business management at an international level Solid affinity with Animal Nutrition, Pet Food Industries, Aqua Nutrition, Agricultural, or Human Nutrition. Long term relationship builder with internal partners and external customers and industry connections Commercial & closing skills Collaborative team player Ability to travel regionally up to 30%, annually Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business and/or a degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Zoology, or equivalent knowledge by experience. 10 years of experience in International B2B raw material or ingredient sales with a sustainability value proposition and key account management elements. Ability to demonstrate Impact, initiative, and leadership to drive business results in sales and development Essential Job Functions : Set up and execute regional sales strategies and plans to realize the business objectives. Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities to materialize on the objectives Responsible for realization of business targets (revenues, volumes, prices, margins) of customers in the region. In cooperation with product management, set up and execute on pricing strategies. Develop and execute on tactical/strategic planning and realize business targets. Contract negotiations and closing in alignment with product management and commercial director. Identify sustainable market opportunities to further develop the business in the region. Build and maintain new business development pipeline and support new product launches. Collaborate with supply chain to ensure accurate account forecasting and supply for the region. Work jointly with the customer service team to manage the customer interface. Gather market and competitive information to support the regional and global strategy. Active management of working capital in terms of credit limits, payment terms and overdue management Physical Demands: The work is performed mainly in the General Office Environment and may occur in Pilot Plant or Lab areas where PPE is required. Through the course of a typical work day, an individual in this position will perform the following activities: Prolonged sitting, 40% of the time Extensive walking, 30% of the time Ability to lift and carry object of up to 15-20 lbs. Reach above and below shoulders Driving or taking flights to regional locations, up to 30% The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's title and position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, location and business or organizational needs. The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000.
