Overview Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: NovaCare in Annapolis Maryland Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics Schedule: Per Diem / PRN / Part Time Compensation: starting at $25.00/hr. Our NovaCare Annapolis team is seeking licensed physical therapist assistants (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. NovaCare Annapolis is a sports centers of excellence! We can consider FULL, PART or PER DIEM licensed PTAs with one (1) year of recent OP ortho experience. Physical therapist assistants average 12 patients in an eight hour day. Half day schedules are OK. New grad PTAs can be considered for full or part time hours. We treat a diverse caseload offering general ortho, sports medicine, vestibular, concussion, and more. Annapolis Center Hours: Mon/Tues/Thurs 7AM- 8PM, Wed 7AM- 4PM and Fri 7AM-330PM. Last patient scheduled an hour prior. Schedule Options: Per Diem/ PRN is as needed coverage. No set schedule or expectations. Part time is less than 32 hours and a set schedule to include some evenings. Your last patient is scheduled an hour prior to close. Full time begins at 32 hours and includes full benefits. Benefits and Incentives: Part time, PRN, and per diem clinicians will have access to both our in-person, and online CEU accrediting courses. If you perform more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year, 401(k) with company match is available. Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program. Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures. Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff. Qualifications Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE. State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
