Tax Analyst and Senior Tax Analyst

A professional services firm in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their staff as their new Tax Analyst / Sr. Tax Analyst. Responsibilities: The Tax Analyst / Sr. Tax Analyst will be responsible for: Preparing and reviewing federal, state & local income tax returns Preparing consolidated and standalone corporate federal and state income tax returns for assigned clients Conducting federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 1+ years of Corporate income tax Preparation experience working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environment Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a related field Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations Experience with Corporate Tax Preparation software Microsoft Excel proficient Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Corptax, ONESOURCE, or GoSystem RS Knowledge of online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA)
