Our client is seeking a Letter of Credit Analyst to join their team. The LOC Analyst will have the following top skills: Able to review and interpret Reimbursement Agreements, Credit Agreements, and Credit Applications Ability to issue Standby LCs in SWIFT and WORD format Working knowledge of 700 SWIFT series (799, 760, 700) Working knowledge of UCP and ISP regulations Familiarity with Evergreen LCs and Direct Pay LCs (Monthly Draws) Job Description : Letters of Credit Analyst Hybrid 1-2 days/week JC 45-55/hr Overview We are seeking a Trade Credit Services Analyst to support a middle office function by actively reviewing approved credit applications, reimbursement agreements, and supporting documentation for issuance of standby letters of credit in bi-lateral and syndicated transactions. Able to read and interpret credit agreements, support software processes, has an understanding of Loan IQ (the Bank's loan booking system), and can communicate via telephone with a variety of people including customers, banks, and client executives. Responsibilities Complete coordination, review, and system (LIQ) input of assigned new deals and amendments Ensure banks books accurately reflect the intentions of the credit agreement and credit approval Accurately issue, process and book standby letters of credit Provide our lending services to our customers and maintain accurate dat Reimbursement Agreements, Credit Agreements and Credit Applications Able to read and interpret reimbursement agreements, credit agreements, and approved credit applications Complete assigned projects generally to address workflow or business related matters Adhere to internal and external regulatory policies and procedures Qualifications Able to review and interpret Reimbursement Agreements, Credit Agreements, and Credit Applications Ability to issue Standby LCs in SWIFT and WORD format Working knowledge of 700 SWIFT series (799, 760, 700) Working knowledge of UCP and ISP regulations Familiarity with Evergreen LCs and Direct Pay LCs (Monthly Draws) Follow instructions very well; detail-oriented Understand all aspects of deal/loan administration functions and tasks Use of LIQ preferred, but not required, or like loan/letter of credit system Construct and amend bilateral and syndicated deal structures Trouble-shoot basic structure/loan related functional problems/issues If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
